Banoffee Pie  (Gene Watkinson from Jane)
1 tin condensed milk
4 bananas sliced in lemon juice
1 oz grated chocolate
9 oz ginger biscuits

10 oz butter
½ pt double cream whipped
6 oz caster sugar
  1. Melt 4 oz butter and then stir in the crushed biscuits. Press into a dish and chill.
  2. In a non-stick pot, gently heat the remaining butter and the sugar stirring until the butter melts.
  3. Add the condensed milk and heat until simmering on low heat for 5 minutes to make a light golden syrup. Pour into base.
  4. Cut the bananas into ½” circles and place to cover the syrup filling.
  5. Top with the whipped cream and refrigerate.
