JL - February 2020:

Great location

This was a great place to stay on the North End of Grand Cayman. We weren't too far from the N-S road, the East End, and the Kaibo area. So it didn't take a lot of driving to go out to eat, grocery shopping, etc. The snorkeling outside the house was great once the winds died down. The ceiling fan in one of the rooms didn't work, but the owner was quite responsive and provided a couple of alternatives. We had a lovely time here, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Another week in paradise!

We loved our stay at Azure Breeze. It is conveniently located on the Northside. Quiet and private. The snorkeling in our own backyard was AMAZING! We loved the white soft sandy beach. House had everything we could possibly need. It was like being home!

Fantastic location and perfect for our family

We had a wonderful week at this villa on the North Side, which was the perfect space for our family of four. Everything was just as described in the listing and the beach is right outside the sliding glass doors, with a great breeze off the water. Frank is an excellent host and was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions leading up to the trip, as well as while we were there on Grand Cayman. The North Side seems to be the quieter side of the island, which is exactly what we wanted. Most of the main attractions were only a 20 or 30 minute drive away, and it was great to see most of the island while driving around. Highly recommended. Can't wait to return!

Perfect beach villa

Our family of five had a wonderful vacation staying at this villa. It has its own private beach outback filled with beautiful sand and access to snorkeling on its own reef. It’s a short drive to rum pointe, which has lots of activities and restaurants so this was the perfect place for us to stay. None of us wanted to leave.

Great location for an escape

The check in process was very simple. The property was beautiful and well taken care of. Vacationing there was like being in your own little private retreat.

Fantastic holiday

The property was perfectly located for us. It’s a quiet area with a secluded beach. Great snorkelling on the reef outside and easy access. The house was absolutely lovely and fully equipped, we couldn’t have asked for more. It felt like we were in a home rather than just a rental. It was very easy dealing with Frank and he replied to emails really quickly. We’ve have no hesitation in recommending the property. Thanks to Frank and Del

We felt like we had our own private slice of paradise

Location is great for a family/group when you want some quiet and privacy, away from the crowds and cruise ships. Beautiful views out the back porch, great snorkeling when it was calm. Short drive to starfish point so you don't need to buy a tour from Georgetown. Also close to Rum point where you can catch the Stingray City tour boat, and it is cheaper to leave from there. The stingrays and the coral garden were world class awesomeness! We also drove into town one day and snorkeled for free at Eden Rock, which was amazing. That has got to be the best free snorkeling anywhere in the Caribbean! The villa was exactly as pictured, bright and clean and spacious. A few very minor issues - the vacuum cleaner didn't work well, the dryer took a long time to dry, and the AC was a bit unevenly distributed to the bedrooms. Overall I would stay here again if we had another group of 5-6 people. Some might prefer staying in town, but we really enjoyed the quiet and privacy. There are enough nearby restaurants, activities, and stores that you don't need to go back to the west side unless you want to see a movie and get out of the sun. One tip - we could not go on the Bioluminescent Bay tour because it was full and they don't run it on certain days of the moon cycle. Plan in advance and book it before you arrive, this was one activity that is supposed to be unique and amazing.

Relaxing, Wonderful Stay

We just got back from our week long stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation on the beach. The location is great with some of the best shallow water snorkeling right out the door. We even saw a sea turtle one day and several lobsters. The property is clean and safe and has all the amenities you will need. There are great restaurants within 10 miles of the property in either direction (Over the Edge is less than a mile away and we enjoyed it the most). Every evening, we spent time out on the back deck enjoying the breeze and sunset. All of the other tenants around us were so friendly and it was a quiet stay. We had one property issue while we were there, but the handy man came out within hours and Frank called to make sure everything was taken care of. When we come back, we will look forward to our stay at Azure Breeze.

BR - February 2019: Wonderful week...Great location...fabulous place to stay!

We spent a week at #5 Azure Breeze just recently and it was wonderful! We found that the house had everything we could possibly need and more. It was very clean, spacious and very comfortably furnished. A full kitchen let us eat breakfast in every morning, pack a picnic lunch most days and then flip a coin on eating in or dining out for dinner! We even grilled one night! We loved the flexibility it gave us. The house is right on the water with a lanai out the back door. We started and ended every day there either sipping morning coffee, enjoying a glass of wine at sunset or just sitting and watching the sea. We snorkled once or twice right out the back door, but it was a little windy while we were there so we had more success snorkeling down the street at both Rum Point and Starfish Point where it was more sheltered. We rented a car for the week which was well worth it. The house is located on the North Side, a short ride away from Seven Mile Beach. We fell in love with the location because it was away from the George Town cruiseport crowds and close to so many other things worth exploring(Rum Point, Starfish Point, Crystal Caves, Botanical Garden, Mastic Trail Pedro St. James). We also explored the quieter East End. The house is perfectly situated to all of these locations. Frank and Dell provided us with a packet of information regarding dining choices, activities, beaches, and local highlights before we arrived. This was invaluable as we were able to make several reservations ahead of our arrival and we arrived feeling like we knew what to expect and where to find things on the island. Such a great, relaxing time! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

We would definitely stay at this property again. We loved that it was in the quiet side of the island and away from the hustle and bustle of the west side of the island. It was very quiet, and the locals were all very friendly. We tried several snorkeling spots, and the best snorkeling was right outside this house. All of the restaurants we tried in the area were good, especially Tukka. This house had everything we needed for a great 5 night stay. The only thing I can even think to criticize about it was we had a hard time getting one of the burners on the stove to work. But other than that, we felt like we had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation! For anyone who hasn't been to Grand Cayman, you will not be disappointed with the island or staying at this property. Swimming with the sting rays is a must do!!

Thank you Frank and Del!! We just returned from a wonderful family vacation—we all agreed it was one of our best yet! The villa was just as described, clean, and well appointed. Frank was one of the most communicative and responsive owners we have dealt with. He provided a wealth of information ahead of our trip so we were very prepared. We did several excursions around the island, which were all fun...but we truly loved the peace and quiet of the “backyard beach.” We can’t wait for the next time!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Easy to find location. A beautifully inviting house with all the amenities needed. And of course a view and beach that was remarkable and the kind you never want to leave. Frank the owner was very easy to work with. Angela the housekepper was a sweet gem of a person. JM - December 2017: Perfect villa right on the beach

We had a wonderful stay at Azure Breeze #5! The villa is situated on the quiet north end of the island right on the beach. The villa is stocked with everything one would need and provided plenty of room for our family of 5. It's very easy to get to the villa from the airport or George Town with well-paved roads and good signage. Frank and Del sent us a helpful map and detailed directions, too. Frank and Del are great hosts. Communication was excellent throughout the booking process and our stay. Their list of recommendations is invaluable, from activities to grocery stores. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to Grand Cayman!

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, fully-furnished house on the beach. Grand Cayman island exceeded our expectations with warm weather, fantastic snorkeling, and a great variety of activities and good dining options. Everything at the property was as advertised and the owners were helpful in every way.

AB - November 2017: Awesome villa on the beach!

This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and staying at a VRBO as well. The place was very nice and exactly as shown in pictures. The villa is on the quiet side of island and had the beach to ourselves everyday. The snorkeling right behind the villa is fantastic as well. My family saw an eel, large spotted stingray and large variety of fish species! We would definitely stay here again. The Villa is well stocked from everything you need from cooking, snorkeling, beach toys, to 2 bicycles. The owner Frank was extremely helpful as well and provided ample information on dining, snorkeling, directions, attractions as well. Thank you Frank for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. Frank also supplied a nice bottle of wine for our 20th wedding anniversary that was waiting on us upon our arrival. It was greatly appreciated and an indication of the level of detail and how much the owners care about your stay. We will definitely stay here if and when we return.

MM - September 2017: Amazing stay with a beach in your backyard!!

We had a great time staying at Frank and Del’s home. With the beach outside the back door and fantastic snorkeling in your backyard, it was tough to leave the house! We did manage to explore the island with the list of activities and places to visit that Frank and Del provided us. Great suggestions! The decorations, decor, and well stocked kitchen made this house feel like home to us. A week just wasn’t long enough! They were accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our booking was quick and covienient. I know we’ll be back!

DR - September 2017: Everything Was As Described & More

A truly lovely and spacious beach front home, well kept and fully stocked with everything one would need to make this a home away from home. All you have to do is buy food. If you want a quiet place to decompress this is the place. If you want all the amenities of 7MB, the villa is an easy (once you get used to driving on the left) 35 minute drive from Georgetown and 7MB.

LO - February 2017: Impressive location - lovely home and great experience.

Property was in great shape - directions to the property made it easy to find. Ocean was literally steps from the back door. Most days we were the only people on the beach out back. They had everything we needed and then some, there were board games, bicycles, floating things, snorkel equipment for everyone... The kitchen was fully equipped which made our meals delightful. It's hard to believe our vacation is over, but we have some really great memories to look back on. Thank you so much for making this vacation so comfortable and easy.

MV - January 2017: Smooth Rental Experience on Grand Cayman

This was our third time visiting Cayman, having stayed in different condo's each time. Frank and Del are reliable and trustworthy people willing to share their home on the best area Cayman has to offer. We arrived to an extremely clean and well-kept home with everything we needed. As others have said, this is the quiet side of the island, however there are groceries and restaurants to the east or west, just minutes away. We've snorkeled all over the island, and the reef right out front is up there with the best sites anywhere. There were several days of very windy northeast conditions that didn't allow for snorkeling or beach-going; but no worries...a 10-minute drive to Frank Sound or Governor's Beach and you're on the leeward side of the island. There were 6 of us staying here and everyone had plenty of elbow room and privacy. Thanks again to Frank and Del for sharing their place!
